17/01: CVD meeting at northpoint starbucks.
met lay woon and aaron at mac, after they have all eaten, including sheryl and skandan, we made our way to starbucks. i saw loo hui hui! we have not met each other since the official opening of YTSS new campus. that was one year ago! purposely made it sound so long ago. hahaha.
discussion all the way till 6pm when we left for home and unconceived plans of staying over at mac to finish our work. slides and tutorials.
18/01: schoolday 6 as a JC 2, year 3.
lots of work undone! chem math econ tutorials lagging! oh man. i am starting proper work by 7th feb, when orientation ends. i shall think about CVD next. like how much work more to do. x= busy with slides for briefing to JC 2s on thu!
am i ready for the JC 2 fiasco? x=
19/01: CA 1, 2, 3 test.
confirmed failure. when mrs kwang said, "there is third test for all other classes, but for my class, it is special." if you are looking towards the positive end, think again. "you will take until all of you pass. and each test must be improved by 10 marks." was her next statement. my gosh. x=
OGL training after the test but i went off for CVD meeting. slides are not done, teachers talked to the whole committee and our sub committee stayed back and then moved to ishimura to complete.
this is just the beginning! x=
20/01: OGL and CVD clashing!
of course i have to give ALL my attention to CVD as the briefing is tml! went to b1-05 to complete the slides till 1945, saw something which i DO NOT, WILL NOT and DID NOT see and we moved out to block 760 to discuss more details, a mini debate session before moving off to the coffeeshop for dinner and finalization of slides.
need to come up with the confirmed slides, contents, animations, speeches and finally the presentation!
am i cutting myself too much slack? x=
21/01: CVD presentation!
i did the slides till 0045, finished my script only at 0300 and almost at the same time as lay woon. looked through my slides, checked my script against the slides, checked hers against the slides and lastly, a bit of MDWAV IV before sleeping at 0430.
totally weak when i woke up. insufficient sleep plus wobbly thigh muscles due to strenuous PE after 4 months of nua-ing. frantically preparing and trying to get my script digested. but failed. -,-
did not bring my adaptor and everyone was worried that my laptop will have insufficient strength for the assembly. in the end, it was fine, but the worries are not uncalled for!
presentation was fine! =D except me constantly mixing YJC, YOG and CVD up. effects of my humour, BOOMZ and YO were not bad. hahaha! lay woon did great too. she was much smoother. and i was too easily distracted by the people at the backstage. x=
in life, only SOME efforts pay off while some will never. x=
talked to jasmine again about my things, her things and about unit. am i too predictable or does she know me too thoroughly? hahaha. i doubt that she is blind la huh. take care! (:
