surFIVErace!i met cheeyong, zhijun, yewchow and jenniffer at 0615 in the morning of 15th march to go to PLMGS for the surFIVErace! we went there with the mindset of being unplaced due to the fact that we only have 5 members for 2 teams. hahaha.
we met area 11 at the bus stop and we both reached the hall late. it was fate in the beginning that we see each other. what really killed area 2 was the first and the last checkpoints. -,-
we wasted 1.5 hours getting to SIS, stayed there for 2 hours then really decided to leave. OMG. it was like 12+ when we reached the first checkpoint.
we wasted another hour at the most critical point finding NVPC. i guess i will remember that place for life.
there were many things that i have learnt. (=
and many first times too!
think straight people.first time when i really got desperate ;
first time hitching rides (successful or not) ;
first time running like there is no tml ;
first time hating people for wrong info ;first time taking so many taxis in a day ;
first time squeezing in taxiS ;
first time gum-ing with people i did not know ;
first time bathing in SSS ;first time sleeping in c. tents for NPCC ;first time getting 20 mosquito kisses ;first time doing human pyramid in public ;first time running in shopping centre.
zhijun: kick the cyclists off their bicycles. XD.
yewchow: --something blah blah-- jiu high liao.
michelle: why? all of you want to come to area 11?
i guess the public will remember us for life! hahaha.
