23/02: today is the campcraft competition preliminary round!
i woke up at 0530 when i need to reach everest at 0630. x= i left home at 0555 after a bit of slacking on my bed and then chiong out of house. i enjoyed 20 minutes of sitting before the duty which i did not brace myself to expect.
i took a taxi to HTA, missing a bus and thinking that they will be late. THE TRUTH IS NOT THE CASE. the bus was just in front of my taxi at the HTA bus-stop. it is $5 and i was half-heartbroken. the full impact will come when i realised i have no more money. x=
briefing and a 'PT' worse than those in CIBTC for 11 mornings. i forgot to mention what was the duty which i did not expect. i was under pei en and yong hao until i was posted to lot I/C. it was the most torturous duty, really.
my job scope:
- standardise the placing of the logistics ;
- raising of 3 different flags (red for emergency, yellow for faulty logistics and green for no problems) ;
- looking out for the competitors at my lot which includes:
->feeling the urge to scold them like my cadets for doing the wrong things.
- reporting to the judges ;
- ROTTING DURING JUDGING ;
- replenishing the logistics ;
and then repeating the whole cycle.
*PLUS PLUS PLUS STANDING FOR 3 HOURS AT ONCE.*not including other buffer time.it was so hot and everything that i drank 8 bottles of water from 0630-1900.
and one cup of NICE NICE bubble tea for dinner. ((=
